We may be stuck in our homes but that doesn't mean we can't all come together and learn to cook some delicious pizza! In this two-part virtual class you'll be joined by nine other equally COVID quarantined classmates. In the first class we'll teach you how to make the perfect pizza dough and in class two we'll top and cook your very own NY Style Pizza. Since the class is taught live, you'll be able to ask questions along the way. Absolutely no experience is necessary, just be prepared to have some fun and eat some pizza.
Colin Bixler is a Brooklyn-based pizza maker and bread baker, originally trained under the legendary father/daughter duo of Roberto and Giorgia Caporuscio, who together operate Keste and Don Antonio in Manhattan. Colin spent time at both Paulie Gee's wood-fired location in Greenpoint as well as Paulie Gee's Slice Shop before moving to L'Industrie Pizzeria in South Williamsburg to work alongside chef/owner Massimo Laveglia and Nick "The Hand" Baglivo. Most recently, you can find Colin in his apartment, socially distancing like the safe and responsible New Yorker he is.
